Why I Write

I've always loved telling stories. But it wasn't until middle school, in a creative writing afterschool class, that I discovered just how much joy writing brought me. That class unlocked something...a passion I didn't know I had and one that has never left me.
For me, writing isn't really a choice. The characters show up, they make themselves known, and they demand their stories be told. I'm just the one lucky enough to bring them to life on the page. There's nothing quite like the feeling of watching a character evolve, of discovering their secrets alongside them, and of giving them a voice. It brings me more joy than I can put into words.
People often ask why I write both romance and psychological thrillers...two genres that seem so different. But to me, they're connected by one thing: emotion.
I'm a girl who loves love. There's nothing better than real, deep, heart-stopping love. The funny thing is, I'm not a touchy-feely person in real life, but my characters? They have all the feels. Writing romance lets me explore the beauty of opening your heart to someone and the magic that happens when two people find each other.
Psychological thrillers, on the other hand, are my favorite escape. The lies. The deceit. The twists that keep you guessing. Trying to figure out what's really going on gives me the best rush...and I hope my readers feel that same thrill.
At the end of the day, my books are meant to entertain. But they also deal with real life situations...the messy, complicated, and sometimes painful parts of being human. My goal with every book I write is to give readers hope. Hope that if you open your heart, things can and will change.
Thank you for being here. I'm so excited to share this journey with you.
Until next time,
Love, lies, and everything in between
