The Story Behind The Made Series

As a reader, there's nothing more frustrating than falling in love with a character's best friends...only to never find out what happens to them. We meet these amazing, supportive people who stand by the main character through everything, and then their stories just disappear. I always felt cheated by that.

So when I sat down to write The Made Series, I knew exactly what I wanted to create: a series about three best friends, each dealing with life and love, while maintaining their friendship through it all. Carmen, Marcia, and Giselle each deserved their own book because their stories deserved to be heard.

Book 1: Made to Love follows Carmen Williams, a successful business owner haunted by the guilt of her younger sister's murder. When she meets Cooper Jackson, a man with his own buried trauma, the attraction is undeniable. But can two people hiding from their pasts ever truly let love in?

Book 2: Made for You is Marcia Davis's story. She's living the dream...thriving career, flawless style, amazing boyfriend. But behind the glitz and glam, Marcia is hiding secrets dark enough to destroy everything. And when a severed head shows up at her door, the past she buried comes back with a vengeance.

Book 3: Made by Us follows Giselle, the friend everyone wishes they had. She's built a beautiful life with her catering business and her devoted boyfriend Liam. But when bad boy Ethan Thomas reappears, Giselle is forced to choose between the safe love she knows and the fire she can't resist.

Why "The Made Series"?

The title works on multiple levels. These couples were made for each other...destined to find love despite their struggles. These women are self-made...building their own lives, careers, and futures on their own terms. And their friendship? It's made to last...tested by life, shaken by secrets, but ultimately unbreakable.

What I hope readers take away:

I want readers to see themselves in these pages. The good, the bad, and the messy in-between. Life isn't perfect, love isn't easy, and sometimes the people we trust the most are carrying burdens we know nothing about. But through it all, there's hope. There's growth. And there's the reminder that our struggles don't define us...they refine us.
